The Sun Temple, often referred to as the Martand Sun Temple, is a historic temple that can be found in the Ladakh region of India's Anantnag district. It was constructed in the eighth century and honours Surya, the Sun God.

How to Reach:
About 70 kilometres from Leh, in the Ladakh region's Anantnag district, is where you'll find the Sun Temple. Hiring a cab or a car from Leh is the best way to get to the temple. The route that leads to the temple is picturesque and provides lovely views of the surroundings. While visiting the temple, it is suggested to pack enough water and wear warm clothing.
